Went to Something Blue looking for Mom dresses for a wedding. Shop had an excellent selection of dresses in many colors which is hard to find. In addition, the shop provided excellent help in selecting the best color and fit. I was nervous about the whole process, they made it fun and I know I will feel confident and look amazing on the big day!

According to my wife, this is a nicer bridal shop than anything we have in Cedar Rapids. They have a huge selection of dresses, lots of nice decorations for rent, tuxes for the guys, and they do events. You can tell they have an eye for design from the many displays they have set up in the shop. Service was friendly too.

A week before my best friend’s wedding, the place I originally got my dress royally screwed it up. There was no way to fix it. I called Something Blue (I live an 1 1/2 hours away) and asked if there was anything they could do to help me. They checked their inventory and said they had some things and to come in that day. I was able to find 2 dresses that would work for a really decent price with very little alterations needed. They were not able to make the alterations, due to it being a week away, which was understandable. I was just happy they had some, got me in so quickly, and helped every step of the way. 100/10 would recommend! Side note: I got my own wedding dress from here in 2019 when they were at a different location and loved them then too!

This is a really great place to wedding dress shop. Wonderful ladies there that are very good at helping you find that perfect dress! They are so helpful and knowledgeable about the dresses and what will look good on your body type. Alterations are excellently done as well! I have shopped with two daughters and my daughter’s friend and all had a wonderful experience.

Absolutely everything about my experience with Something Blue has been nothing short of phenomenal. I ended falling in love with a jumpsuit to which the girls helped me dress it up with fun additions like a belt and cape. I also worked with the seamstress Eleanor who was extremely attentive to the alterations and very personable. I highly recommend Something Blue to anyone!!
